How to Create a Cinemagraph in Photoshop

I Guarantee I Can Teach You to Master Photoshop. Learn How: Phlearn Phamily, you are in for a real treat! In today's episode, we show you how to create a cinemagraph in photoshop. We don't stop there, we also give you some tips for creating a cinemagraph in camera. Sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy the ride! What is a Cinemagraph? Cinemagraphs are commonly produced by taking a series of photographs or a video recording, and, using image editing software, compositing the photographs or the video frames into a seamless loop of sequential frames. This is done such that motion in part of the subject between exposures (for example, a person's dangling leg) is perceived as a repeating or continued motion, in contrast with the stillness of the rest of the image. Capturing Footage for a Cinemagraph At first we planned on just teaching you how to create a cinemagraph in photoshop. Then we realized that it's just as important to know how to shoot a cinemagraph with your camera before taking it into photoshop. Here are some things you'll need in order to capture footage for your cinemagraph: A camera that can record video (Anything from a DSLR to an iPhone) A sturdy tripod (You'll need your scene to be relatively still in order to really achieve this effect. A sturdy tripod is one of the best ways to ensure your framing is consistent.) A subject (Something or someone that is doing something with a continuous movement. In our case we used a record player. As long as there is a distinct starting and stopping point. It will take a little practice to find the perfect subject, but get out there and have fun trying to create your own cinemagraph! Using Photoshop to Edit Your Cinemagraph After you've went out and shot your footage to create your cinemagraph, it's time to bring it into Photoshop. That's right, Photoshop does also offer video editing features! We start by importing our footage into Photoshop just like we would with any other still image. Once you've brought your footage into Photoshop, it should pop up with your video timeline. If you don't see your timeline, just go up to Window, and down to Timeline. The editing of your footage for a cinemagraph revolves around one concept. Your end frame needs to be the same as your beginning frame. That way it will create a continuous loop that looks completely seamless. Once we have our clips set up how we want, we need to use keyframes to adjust the visibility of the layers, or the Opacity. We set up our top clip with the opacity set at %100 and we gradually fade it out to %0. This will cause your top clip and bottom clip to blend together perfectly. Next we use a Stamp Visible Layer and paint black over the areas we want visible. In this case with the footage we are using, we painted black only over where the waves are. This is what really helps sell the effect. Sometimes everything in your scene won't work for a continuous motion, so creating a Stamp Visible Layer is a great way to control where the motion is coming from. Saving & Exporting Now that you have finished editing your Cinemagraph in photoshop, it's time for the export. You want to make sure you go to your menu and click "Save for Web". After that make sure that the file type is a GIF. PNG files and JPEG files do now support motion so it won't work if you don't export your file as a GIF. One of the cool features is you can simply click and drag your export Cinemagraph file into google and see how it would look on the web. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching Phlearn! How to Edit Video in Photoshop CS6

This is a quick demonstration of the new video editor found in Adobe Photoshop CS6. This impressive video editor can handle full HD video, and most of the adjustments and filters that you're used to using for photos can now be applied to videos. Photoshop CS6 is the first version of the program to offer timeline based video editing rather than just frame-based animation. However, animation is still available, and the combination of still images, animation, and video makes a very powerful video editor. If your timeline doesn't look like mine, you might be using the "frame animation" timeline instead of the video. If you want to convert from the frame animation timeline to the video editing timeline, click the icon that the arrow is pointing to in this image: If you have the Video timeline up but still don't see the "Add Media" icon in your timeline, then you are probably using a bad install of Photoshop. Re-installing usually solves the problem, but sometimes it's necessary to remove older versions of Photoshop. If that doesn't work, it's a software problem; contact Adobe support. DYNAMICLINK NOT AVAILABLE Generally this error can be solved by closing down any other Adobe media programs that might be open and using this resource. A reboot will probably solve it, but not always. If shutting down other programs and a reboot don't fix the issue, try this thread at the Adobe Forums: SAVING / EXPORTING When you're finished with your video project (or even if you're not) and you want to save it as a photoshop project that you can keep working on later, you simply use the "Save" or "Save As" option in the file menu. However... When you're ready to create the actual video for viewing or uploading to YouTube, etc, look under the File menu choose "Export", and under Export, choose "Render Video". Depending on what version of photoshop you have and what video codecs you have on your computer, you may see some different options here, but any of them will produce a video of some kind :) For more information, visit us at

How to Master the Clone Stamp Tool in Photoshop

I Guarantee I Can Teach You to Master Photoshop. Learn How: The Importance of the Clone Stamp Tool The Clone Stamp Tool is one of the most important tools that Photoshop has to offer. It allows you to copy areas of an image and i very useful for getting rid of distractions or skin blemishes. In this episode we focus on getting the most out of the Clone Stamp Tool. You will learn how to navigate the settings and preferences for the tool. We also show you how we use the tool through several examples. Using the Clone Source Dialog The Clone Source Dialog is available by going to 'Window - Clone Source'. Here you will see options for Clone Source, Transformation options, as well as overlay options. We go through each of these options and show you how we set up our Clone Stamp tool. Photoshop has the "Show Overlay" option checked by default however we prefer to keep it unchecked. The overlay can get in the way and is always available by hitting OPTN + SHIFT. Adjusting Clone Stamp Selections After using the Clone Stamp Tool to cover the lapel microphone there are still some adjustments that need to be made. It is best to use the Clone Stamp tool on new layers so you can transform the selection afterwards. To do this hit CMD + T then right click on the layer. You will be able to rotate, skew, transform and warp the selection so it fits with the image better. After getting the Clone Stamp selection in place we use a great technique to blend exposures. Some areas of this layer need to be lighter and some need to be darker and we accomplish this using a combination of a brush tool set to blending mode "Soft Light" and the "Lock Transparency" Option in the layer dialog; This will allow you to only paint over non-transparent pixels. We then paint black and white over the layer to brighten or darken it accordingly. Use Clone Stamp with Different Brushes Many people think that you are limited to a soft round brush when it comes to the Clone Stamp tool. The Clone Stamp tool can use any custom brush the regular Brush Tool can use. Try adjusting your brush shape or creating your own custom brush to best complete your project. Adobe Photoshop Cs 7.0 Tutorials Part -1 in Bangla for Beginners

Adobe Photoshop is a raster graphics editor developed and published by Adobe. This video shown adobe Cs 7.0 for beginners.... Adobe Photoshop part-2(All photoshop Tools): Adobe Photoshop Part-3(Edit & File Menu): Adobe Photoshop part-4 (Image Menu): Adobe Photoshop Part-5(Layer Menu): Adobe Photoshop Part-6 ( Select Menu): Adobe Photoshop part-7 (Extend of Filter menu): Subscribe my Channel: Please join my FB group page: All Bangla photoshop tutorial: Book cover design: Easy color change from Image: make cloudy effect: Create DSLR effect on photo: Change background color: In general, Adobe Photoshop is considered a software that is used for picture editing. For instance if you have a photograph of any person and you don’t like his or her eye color, complexion , dress, hair style ,hair color, background etc. you can make necessary changes in that photograph according to your choice or requirement using Photoshop. Of course, the uses of Adobe Photoshop are not limited to the editing of human pictures. In the current time period this software is vastly used by interior decorators and commercial and web designers. This definition of Photoshop might be enough for a person who has very little or nothing to do with computer graphics. But, if you are a graphics designer yourself or intend to start a career as one and at the same time, able to make clear distinction between Raster and Vector Graphics, you can’t satisfy yourself with this superficial sort of definition of this highly useful image editor. As Adobe Photoshop deals with the editing and composing of Raster images (images based on small colorful dots referred as pixels) and it has very little ability to edit or compose Vector images, videos and 3D graphics so it is often referred as Raster Graphics Editor. Using this software one can draw or edit an image (Raster Image) on multiple layers. Further, through Photoshop two or more than two images can be combined flawlessly that they give the impression of a single image. This method of combining two or more than two images is called Compositing or Alpha Compositing. Adobe Photoshop supports all major color models including RGB Color, CMYK Color, Grayscale, Bitmap and LAB Color. Images edited or composed by the use of Adobe Photoshop can be saved in various formats e.g. JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP etc. At the top of the main window of Photoshop 7.0 there can be seen a Menu Bar containing nine different tabs named File, Edit , Image , Layer, Select, Filter, View, Window and Help. Each tab represents a different menu. Each menu contains various options and each option is proved important and helpful in some way or the other whenever it comes to compose or edit any image in Photoshop.
